Stopped by D&AD last night to watch the Creative Excellence in Creator Content panel discussion. It's always really nice to see the ‘democratisation’ of creative work, especially when it brings new perspectives to the industry.
There was an interesting thread about the difference between creators and influencers being that creators sell skillset/vision while influencers sell access to an audience – though how quickly those lines blur when budgets and KPIs come into play will always be where the tension is.
