Just 15% of UK businesses are owned or led by women – the lowest figure since before the pandemic. It’s why YeahNice has partnered with brilliant Emmie Faust at Female Founders Rise on their biggest ever campaign to try to change this.
According to the Rose Review, £250 billion could be unlocked for the UK economy if women started and scaled businesses at the same rate as men. Impressive stats. While women face a whole host of additional challenges to their male counterparts – lack of VC investment, expensive childcare and societal expectations, to name a few – we wanted to create a positive and uplifting campaign to inspire future female leaders.
Afterall, it’s hard to be what you can’t see.
‘You’ve Got What It Takes’ shines a light on the the challenges female founders face while highlighting the untapped potential they bring to the UK economy.
Shot at the gorgeous Kindred London, ‘You’ve Got What It Takes’ showcases real stories from real female founders to inspire the next generation of business leaders.
Thanks to support from our OOH partners glooh. the campaign is running on sites across Birmingham and London this week. Keep your eyes’ peeled!
Thanks to all who helped us get this get turned around in such a short time frame and of course, to the amazing participants. We want to run these campaigns all over the country. This is just the beginning.
